Films first, politics next for Kalyan Ram

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has had a recent release in the form of . In the film, he goes to a village to win the hand of his lady love Indu (Kajal Aggarwal). The condition put forward by Indu’s father Nagappa (Jayaprakash Reddy) is that he should become an MLA to wed Indu. Does Kalyan Ram succeed in his endeavour or not, forms the crux of the story.
Meanwhile, during the promotions for the film which released on Friday, Kalyan Ram was asked by the media whether he harboured any political ambitions himself as he was the grandson of the legendary actor and chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh, the (late) NTR.To this, Kalyan Ram responded saying that his fans did indeed want him to enter politics but he would contemplate politics only after he was done with his career in films.
